National Young Mathematicians Award
This half term, 4 lucky pupils were selected and given the opportunity to take part in the National Young Mathematicians Award. After a successful first round, pupils headed to the Explore Learning Centre for Round 2. Out of 114 schools, Nanaksar Primary School and Guru Nanak Sikh Academy were the only two groups that got through to the second round which is a fantastic achievement!
The challenge involved pupils participating in a problem solving activity, demonstrating their ability to work as a team and justify their answers using mathematical concepts. We couldn't be more proud of our pupils for representing the school with so much maturity and humility!
Congratulations to: Cameron Taggar, Sukhraj Deol, Alisha Brar and Taranjot Dhillon.
