KS2 learns more about democracy!
On Wednesday 25th September, KS2 had a special assembly to develop their understanding of democracy.
Nichola Luke (Parliaments Education and Engagement Officer for London) visited the school and spoke to the pupils about how the House of Commons and House of Lords work. The pupils asked Nichola some fantastic questions to deepen their understanding of how Parliament works.
After the assembly, some pupils from Year 5 and 6 had a workshop on laws and debating where they all got a chance to act out the roles of MP’s. This was a wonderful experience for our pupils at GNSA and we look forward to working with Nichola in the future.
