Year 7 and 8 is all about developing self-awareness and discovering the types of careers that are out there in the big wide world!!
- Assembly Programme which aims to help students to understand more about themselves (self-development), know where to look for useful information (careers exploration) and plan for the future (career management).
- All students take part in the Careers Week activities.
- Weekly Business Enterprise lessons.
- Preparation for Option Choices - Progress Leader assemblies and Open Evening aim to help students to make a decision on their GCSE preferences that are appropriate to their interests, talents and proposed career.
- STEM Days.
- World of Work – Guest Speakers.
- All Year 8 students will receive a Personal Development Planner.
- Access to Unifrog Platform - our School's customised careers platform which provides the building blocks for our students to develop their employability skills.
- Access to Careers Library.
