Every week the Year 7s have a PSHE lesson with their form tutors focusing on different topics that relate to the students Personal, Social and Health Education. The aim of these sessions is to equip our students with the knowledge, understanding, attitudes and practical skills to live healthily, safely, productively and responsibly.

Alongside these sessions the Year 7s also have a PSHE assembly once a term which focuses on current and relevant issues. This is usually delivered by a variety of external agencies such as Police, School Nurse, KISS agency etc.

During one PSHE assembly we had members of the YTA (Youth Travel Ambassadors) from Year 9 present about road safety, focusing on the dangers relevant to their age group and within our community.
